We are currently looking to recruit a Marketing Communications Manager for our client in Newbury, Berkshire. Candidates will need to have experience of working in Marketing position with a Technical Engineering company. Ideal Technical Product knowledge will be sealants or adhesives.

Job Description

Marketing Communications Manager
Newbury/Hungerford, England.
£35,000 - £40,000

Hours Per Week: 37.5 hours (8am - 4pm)
Purpose of the job:

The position is responsible for creating and implementing the Marketing Communications Strategy within the UK and International markets to deliver against commercial and other performance targets. This includes the development of international marketing campaigns across all products under the full portfolio, both online and offline.

Working Relationships:
Internal: Company's sales and marketing personnel in Newbury and Sulzer headquarters, customer service, finance, manufacturing, and engineering.

External: Customers (especially at executive level), vendors, and other.
Main Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

" Develop and implement all B2B and B2C marketing communications strategies according to strategic objectives.
" Increase brand awareness through a strategic program of activities and events, including the end to end management of exhibitions and internal events, PR, website, and social media.
" Liaise with sales, marketing, and agency for the development of collateral including print, online, and POS materials.
" Support new product introductions with the creation of materials and presentations to support the sales force
" Enforce global brand guidelines to ensure the integrity of the brand across geographies and channels of distribution.
" Create copy write of bi-annual Newsletter and agency briefing for creative development.
" Monitor end ensure that all activities are within the Marketing budget, without compromising high quality delivery of programs.

Person Specification (Minimum Qualifications):
Education and Work Experience:
" Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Media Studies, or Communications, and preferably MBA or equivalent experience.
" Fluency in European languages is an advantage (especially German).
" Minimum 3 years of practical experience in the marketing of technical products.
" Experience in the sealants and adhesives industry is an advantage.

Technical/Functional Competencies:
" Strong technical product awareness.
" Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all organizational levels.
" Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and complete tasks on time.
" Good attention to detail and accuracy.
" Experience of working in a matrix management environment is highly desirable.
" Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and multiple graphics applications.
" Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
