The Technician is responsible for delivering best practice lubrication programmes across numerous of customer locations. Daily tasks may include; asset labelling, oil changes, oil sampling, oil store upgrades, stock monitoring, contamination control installations, auto lubricator installations, and filtration. This is a remote working role with daily travelling requirements to customer sites.

I am currently looking to recruit a Lubrication Technician for my client who are successful fuels and lubricants organisation. They are currently fulfilling a project for a utility company that are responsible for the public water supply and waste water treatment in large parts of the Greater London and surrounding areas.

The position is a field based role which will require you to travel daily to a number of customer sites- you will be provided with transport therefore a Full UK Driving License is essential.
You will be responsible for delivering best practice lubrication programmes across numerous of customer locations. Daily tasks may include; asset labelling, oil changes, oil sampling, oil store upgrades, stock monitoring, contamination control installations, auto lubricator installations & filtration and general maintenance from a mechanical perspective. There will be an emphasis on Driving (vehicle provided), delivering the fuels and lubricants to various customer sites in the area.

Key responsibilities
" Deliver onsite lubrication upgrades in line with engineering recommendations
" Delivering fuels and lubricants to customer sites
" Oil changes and oil sampling - as well as waste oil removal
" Adhere to team safety requirements, documentation and training
" Represent the company in an appropriate manner at all times when dealing with suppliers, couriers, customers and colleagues.

Qualifications, skills and experience
" Experience working on and around industrial equipment
" Experience in lubricant handling and application and oil changes (Desirable)
" Basic engineering experience including use of hand/lubrication tools
" Health and Safety conscious
" Ability to work alone and self-motivated.
" Ability to deal effectively with customers and colleagues in a professional manner.
" Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
