We have an opportunity within a leading automotive client, based out of their Warwickshire head office. As Lead Quality Engineer we feel this opportunity would be a great move for someone already within the Automotive Industry and will allow you to work in a forward-thinking and market leading business.

Position Description:

Calibration and Controls Current Quality Lead - roll out of Gasoline and Diesel projects: coordination all aspects of supplier management/interaction, software management, programme management and budget management for assigned programmes. In addition to support technical deliverable against release timing, lead issue resolution of technical problems arising from build and chair technical review meetings. This role requires an excellent level of technical knowledge / experience.

Skills Required:
1. Engineering Technical background demonstrating 4+ years experience in automotive, electronics, aviation or software based environment.
2. Project Management & Delivery experience 4+ years.
3. Demonstration of Technical Team Leadership.

Experience Required:
Previous experience of Engine and Powertrain control systems or electronics based delivery essential. Demonstrate the ability to lead the resolution of technical, business and process issues within a team environment. Good communication, interpersonal skills and self-confidence are personal qualities needed to succeed, being self-motivated and the ability to deliver with minimum supervision Exceptional project management, negotiation and communication skills essential. Must be a self-starter able to work alone and as part of large team. Technical background with the ability to lead and resolve engineering issues.

Experience Preferred:
Knowledge of requirements capture, failure mode avoidance techniques and design verification testing Understanding of vehicle electronic control systems or software. Use of engineering based calibration development tools e.g. INCA, ATI, CANalyser
