Inside Sales Executive - Southampton £35k Base with OTE of £50K

As an Inside Sales Executive, you are highly motivated to apply your skills and experience to successfully engage prospects to acquire our technology and assist existing clients to grow their usage. You will be excited by new opportunities to drive transformation in mid and large enterprises.

Responsibilities include generating new business opportunities through prospecting with outbound calling, email, inbound inquiries and both leading and collaborating on marketing campaigns. You must possess a sound understanding of strategic selling complex solutions and value based best practices. You must understand the level of effort necessary to reach all relevant parties that influence the execution of a sales strategy.

You must have experience and success as a sales development or business development executive, and be prepared to take that experience to the next level to use a variety of tools in collaboration with the field sales and marketing teams to assist in the management of the sales cycle and the closure of new business. This is a global role based out of Southampton so it would be beneficial if you could speak additional languages.

As an Inside Sales Executive, you will:

Meet or exceed new opportunity, and closure targets
Create and prioritise a strategic target account list within a defined territory.
Manage complete and complex sales-cycles.
Present to C-level executives the value of our solutions.
Focus on executing transactions up to £100,000 in an assigned territory.
Work closely together with field sales on closing transactions over £100,000.
Manage and progress all opportunities with field sales teams.
Support the field sales teams in assigned territories.
Proactively generate meetings and new sales opportunities through aggressive prospecting, networking and marketing campaigns.
Collaborate with marketing teams to create campaigns, qualify leads, measure effectiveness, and provide feedback.
Collaborate regularly with the field sales to develop a strategy for each opportunity and account.
Coordinate with pre-sales engineers to provide pre-sales support.
Employ appropriate account mapping and mining techniques to research and build a contact base in new and existing accounts
Build and map roles to networks of contacts within target organisation to support complex selling methods
Utilise creativity and initiative in establishing rapport with customer and obtaining pertinent information from customers via the telephone, online and offline networking, and social media to establish each contact's needs
Diligently maintain accurate records and forecasts in CRM, Sales Order Processing, and Finance systems·
Provide excellent customer service (handle all incoming information requests and sales calls promptly).
Prepare activity reports as required and attend pipeline and team meetings.
Travel to various industry events

We would expect you to have:
2-3 years of relevant sales experience, in a quota carrying role achieving quota
Experience in selling enterprise software or technology solution selling and account management
Strong computer skills - CRM system, Word, Excel, CRM
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management, multitasking and organizational skills
Logical and analytical thinking
Compelling negotiation skills
