Who are they?
A Public Sector Local Authority organisation, responsible for a 22 square mile area in West London. A prominent area for investment in business, education and leisure; this Local Authority is undergoing a huge ICT Restructuring Programme.

As a result of huge investment in IT, the authority is now in the process of hiring new talent to join the IT Teams on some major new projects, service offerings and the opening of new facilities.

What do they need?
First and full-most new talent. Due to huge growth and investment in IT across the authority, they now require several Infrastructure Engineers to join them on a permanent basis in Hounslow.

You will either be a skilled Infrastructure Engineer, with a broad background across Infrastructure Projects (Servers, Networks, Telephony, Security) or maybe you're a Specialist in Networks, Telephony / VOIP, Firewalls, VMware or Security. We're pretty flexible, so get in touch.

What will I be doing?
Initially, you will be part of a new project team who is responsible for developing & maintaining the IT Infrastructure across the authority.

Some of these projects will include infrastructure management and maintenance, voice and data networks, telephony, anti-virus, webcasting, security, desktop services and applications.

Your day to day work will include implementations, upgrades, patches, troubleshooting, support and maintenance of the IT Infrastructure.

What do they need from me?
You will have tangible exposure to infrastructure implementation/upgrades and troubleshooting, possessing technical expertise in all or some of the following: Servers, Networks, Firewalls, Telephony / VOIP, Security, Webcast.

Alternatively, you may be a specialist in one of these key infrastructure areas. Of particular interest at the moment would be candidates who are specialists in Networks or Telephony Technologies.

You will ideally possess an industry certification such as MCSE, Cisco Certified, VMWare Certified (VCP) VOIP Certified etc.

You will be dedicated, hard-working, share a passion for technology innovation and be motivated by providing an excellent level of service to your customers.

Salary & Location
£35,000 - £49,000 depending on experience
