HR And Payroll Administrator

A Defence company is looking for a HR and Payroll specialist to join its close knit team in Faslane on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will join a friendly and sociable team, where professional discretion is key due to dealings with employees' personal and sensitive information.

Job Description

You will be responsible for payroll administration, payroll queries and liaising with the UK Payroll Team, as well as new starter inductions (booking conference rooms, issuing appointments and arranging site access).

You will also support training courses and meetings by liaising with the Talent & Organisational Capability (T&OC) team, booking conference rooms, issuing appointments, arranging site access and taking minutes.

Other responsibilities will include timesheet entry and submissions, metrics / statistics and various ad-hoc administrative tasks, such as filing and shredding.

Required skills, qualifications and experience:

* Strong organisation skills
* Ability to communicate effectively to all levels
* Ability to accurately input data
* Prior administrative experience
* Ability to use Microsoft Office 2010 onwards packages in particular Outlook and Excel

Desired skills, qualifications and experience:

* Prior HR administration experience
* Prior payroll administration experience

Travel Details

* A small amount of travel between Faslane (main location) and the Helensburgh office.
