The candidate will lead, develop and deliver products and propositions in line with business objectives and regulatory compliance with focus on finance for the dealer market to consumer for Motoring Services.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the management and development of a key product/proposition stream in line with business strategy and objectives, ensuring all products and propositions meet:

- Statutory compliance obligations
- Group corporate governance standards.
- Product Development standards and are developed in line with NPD process
- The needs of customers and deliver best practice services and products. Ensure effective communication and good working relationships with internal and external key stakeholders at all stages of product development.
- Managing governance between internal and external partners
- Ensure that all outputs are at optimum level and that the teams are updated on performance to a high standard, epitomising the values in all activities.
- Achievement of key performance indicators for the assigned products and propositions.
- Capitalise on tactical and strategic internal and external opportunities in support of product development.
- Ensure all products are regularly monitored and reviewed against desired TCF outcomes.
- Keep abreast of legal and regulatory changes which may affect the ability to develop and sell a product. Form appropriate plans to reduce the impact as appropriate.
- Identify opportunities to increase customer insight through customer programmes and research.
- Keep up to date with consumer market changes - identify opportunities for product changes and realignment.

Capability, Knowledge and Experience:

- Experience of managing product propositions to develop successful high-growth consumer products within a regulatory environment
- Experience of successfully working with third parties, developing relationships and delivering commercial contracts.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to interpret and analyse management information effectively and accurately.
- Strong financial awareness and experience of managing/understanding a P&L.
- Passion for customers and strong experience of delivering excellent customer service.
- Experience of project managing complex projects which involve internal and external personnel from beginning to end.
