As Head of Business Development you will be expected to manage and grow the existing business development and customer acquisition teams (currently standing at a team of 16). You will play a pivotal role in developing the strategy to grow the UK business by 50% over the next 3 years.
Manage, lead, coach and motivate an existing business development and customer acquisition team of 16 individuals
Work closely with senior management to define and execute the business development/customer acquisition strategy
Day-to-day running of the sales team; responsibility for team member development & training; to mentor and coach as needed; to maintain high team standards & disciplines
In conjunction with the Head of Sales, to manage inductions, reviews, appraisals & disciplinary action as & when required
Work to achieve the Company Growth Plan
Setting the activity and revenue targets for the sales team
Monthly reporting and forecasting to the Head of Sales
Management of sales leads, including distribution & monitoring team effectiveness / accountability
Targeting and acquiring new business accounts
To set the example by reaching (& exceeding) their own personal targets & KPI's
