Graduate Test Engineer - Electric Motors
Location: Milton Keynes, UK

Are you a graduate or a graduate who completed a sandwich year who might be interested in the chance to work in a highly complex testing environment?

I am working in conjunction with an engines/powertrain consultancy who are laying down foundations now for next year's growth and as a result they are now looking for a test engineer to join their hybrid testing function. As a test engineer, you will be responsible for project engineering electric motor testing programmes for automotive OEM customers. This will involve liaising with customers to understand their requirements, create functional test plans, build test frameworks internally, oversee the test being carried out, collect data, analyse data and feed back to customers.

About you:

+ Degree qualified in an engineering discipline, either: Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Automotive.
+ A good communicator - you will be supporting the development of the function internally as well as customer facing!

Skills/Knowledge:

+ A sound knowledge of electrical systems engineering, electric motors or hybrid systems.
+ Any exposure to testing mechanical or electrical systems would be beneficial.
+ Prior exposure to data acquisition, test planning, project engineering would be good.
+ An demonstrable interest in hybrid systems would also be beneficial.

Salary:

£28-32k (Commensurate with experience)
