We have an opportunity within a leading automotive client, based out of their Warwickshire head office. As Finance Planner we feel this opportunity would be a great move for someone already within the Automotive Industry and will allow you to work in a forward-thinking and market leading business.

Position Description:
Management of Offshore Dedicated Engineering Centre (ODEC) annual budget, payment schedules and invoicing - approx.. £12m/year budget Support the generation of the annual ODEC budget. Manage the generation of ODEC SAP carts through to PO issuing including all changes. Manage and Report out ODEC Budget vs Actuals using the departmental Dash Board. Develop plans to meet ODEC targets per PT CoC - time and material and fixed price contracts. Interact with ODEC suppliers to police resource changes and update the resource database. Develop process improvement process's and tools to improve business efficiency. Support other functions and roles within Business Planning as requested.

Skills Required:
1. Excellent MS Excel Skills. Experienced SAP user. Accountancy skills
2. Experience of Managing Budgets
3. Comfortable with dealing with functional Line Managers, Senior Managers and Suppliers on a regular basis.

Experience Required:
The ideal candidate will have a good general business background which may have been obtained within a Finance / Accounting or Business Planning Role. Experience of organisations within the automotive sector would be potentially of benefit, although candidates from outside of this sector would be considered. Candidates ideally should possess a minimum of a HNC/HND in a Business related field or this position may be of interest to a Part Qualified Accountant looking to gain experience outside of an Accounting role.

Additional Information:
This role would suit a candidate who is comfortable with working with the minimum of supervision who is consistently capable of managing and producing accurate data. Whitley & Gaydon as required
