Salary: £50 - 60k
My client is one of the largest defence companies in the world, and they are looking for a EMEA Benefits Specialist to be based on site in Whiteley on a permanent basis.
The specialist will provide expert support and advice on all Total Reward and Performance Management activities in the region delivering both enterprise-wide programmes and specific business solutions across the region ensuring that the company remains competitively placed against the market, the role will also involve:
o Serve as the main point of contact for HR Business Partner(s) of supported organisations, on all Reward (compensation/performance management/compliance) questions and issues; including Compensation, Performance Management, Salary Planning, Promotion Strategy, Rewards and Recognition Programs, Incentive/Retention Plans and Salary Analysis.
o Support the delivery of the annual performance and compensation cycle for the business working with both the global team and local team to ensure alignment to market, compliant with local legislation and consistency in application.
o Support a variety of Reward initiatives (both country specific and enterprise-wide) and provide input into program design and process improvement.
o Maintain strong relationships with the HR Business Partners to support them in making decisions on job classification, salary grade levels, and internal alignment.
o Maintain an up to date understanding of current employment legislation and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices across the region.
o Partner with the wider HR team to develop recommendations based on the strategy of attracting and retaining talent in both current and new markets.
o Will be required to conduct presentations and training to HRBPs and Leaders on the compensation philosophy, compensation & performance management programs. As well as supporting the annual benefit enrolment and new benefit implementations.
Desired & Required Skills:
o Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a high volume role within a large complex business within a hands on capacity
o Proven experience of delivering business focused reward solutions
o Ability to manage multiple priorities and also lead projects in a multi-disciplined environment
o Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with multiple key stakeholders.
o Ability to analyse and deliver information to various knowledge levels through different media
o Solid understanding of UK Reward trends and job evaluation methodologies
o Ability to undertake regular visit to other UK sites and occasional travel to other sites within the region
o Experience of working in 2 or more countries within the EMEA Region
o Exposure with M&A activities and Due Diligence
o Experience of HRIS reporting (Peoplesoft) and Market Survey data (WTW, Radford,Mercer)
