We have an opportunity within a leading automotive client, based out of their Warwickshire head office. As Electrical Systems Engineer we feel this opportunity would be a great move for someone already within the Automotive Industry and will allow you to work in a forward-thinking and market leading business.

Position Description:
Reporting to the Manager Advanced Energy Storage the candidate will liaise with Li-ion cell manufacturers and develop cell characterisation methods to assess suitability for application. The candidate will implement these tests by securing appropriate equipment, creating the and overseeing the test routines and analysis of the results, reporting out findings and recommendations to management.

Skills Required:
1. Skilled practitioner in Li-ion cell design and development to meet customer and legislative requirements.
2. Experience with relevant test equipment - cell cyclers, temperature control and EIS etc.
3. Project Management - planning and delivering an automotive project involving multiple functions.

Experience Required:
Degree or Equivalent, Experience to demonstrate you are an expert in the field of energy storage development. Previous experience in research, product creation & delivery processes.

Experience Preferred:
Strong project management capabilities with the ability to multitask, Comfortable challenging cross-functionally and at a variety of levels within the business.

Additional Information:
This position is based at University of Warwick campus but will require travel to other sites.
