We have an opportunity within a leading automotive client, based out of their Warwickshire head office. Position Description:
We are looking for a new colleague who will bring experience and understanding to develop or customer's engineering requirements, to support the development of premium brand quality in the Service environment. Operating as part of eQuality. The Electrification Design for Service function provides engineering teams with clear definition to meet Service requirements, promoting Customer First in the brands vehicle electrified proportion system life cycle.

Skills Required:
1. A sound technical knowledge of vehicle systems, involving Powertrain and Electrical sub-systems and components. Understands Quality and diagnostic activities and can identify concerns and identify solutions to overcome.
2. Successful experience of technical analysis and complex problem resolution.
3. Experience of the Service sector design requirements (i.e Special tools, repair process, component packaging).

Experience Required:
An appropriate level of qualification in the Automotive industry, with sound experience of Electrical and Electric vehicle systems Successful experience of technical analysis and complex problem resolution Complex understanding of Service environment requirements - automotive diagnosis and repair Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills - with an ability to apply inventive ways to steer issues toward resolution Self-motivated with the ability to deliver with minimum supervision Good level of IT literacy and the ability to analyse and present data using IT systems and Microsoft Tool skill sets.

Education Required:
Degree in an engineering specialism desirable, but not essential - other relevant motor industry experience considered Previous experience creating and delivering concise technical reports Specific Design and Development of Vehicle Electrification Propulsion Systems Experience with Standards or Requirement definition Development of automotive diagnostic strategies (i.e. ECU diagnostics) Working knowledge of the programme & project delivery processes Experience with Warranty mitigation Experience of statistical problem solving tools (i.e. Six Sigma).

Additional Information :
Travelling flexibility within the Midlands, UK Able to travel Worldwide Full UK driving license required.
