Salary: 45000-47000 GBP per Year

Job Purpose
Manage delivery of programme requirements with in Electrical & Electric Powertrain team.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks
The Electrical Programmes Leader is responsible for managing vehicle programme gateway deliverables & metrics with the Electrical PMST Leaders & Senior Managers, escalating issues & acting as the key point of contact for the vehicle programme team into the Electrical & Electric Powertrain team.
o Business Planning: collate Managers' input into a full Electrical SEL / PDL submission
o Programme PSTs: Attend PSTs, programme start-up & launch review meetings. Run PT Programmes meeting to cascade programme requirements & progress resolution of actions from the PST.
o Programme Metrics: Manage Concern, Release, Prototype Parts & DVP Metrics with PMST Leaders.
o Programme Gateways: Manage completion of gateway deliverables with Senior Managers & PMST Leaders. Create PT Gateway slides with input from Managers & attend Gateways to support Chief Engineer
o Single Point of Contact for OEM electrical architecture partner. Manage resolution of issues with partner affecting engineering programme delivery, escalating as required to senior Cooperation Committee. Responsible for overall OEM financial status & cascade into PMST CMS decks. Support change management process.
o Manage Programme & DVP Coordinator, Launch Engineer & TDC Champion, ensuring a good service is provided to the Electrical team & to their internal customers.
o General: Keep abreast of electrical activities and issues to ensure sufficient knowledge to adequately represent Electrical in programme meetings. Look ahead & encourage ongoing metrics / deliverable management to avoid crisis updates. Escalate issues to Senior Managers & Chief Engineer as required. Work closely with Vehicle Programmes Leaders to ensure the Electrical team meets their requirements

Qualifications & Experience
Engineering Degree or equivalent experience
o 5 Years automotive industry experience
o Previous direct involvement in new model programme delivery in an electrical project management role, using an OEM's Product Creation System (GPDS, MISSION etc.)
o Broad experience of Electrical Engineering is preferred, including lighting, switchgear, electrical distribution, infotainment, audio & electrical systems integration.
o Expert in MS Excel / Powerpoint
o Excellent presentation skills, including at executive level.
o Project management - identifying & communicating project risks & opportunities.
o Understanding of financial management principles
o Excellent organisational skills - both of self and others
o Comfortable working to deadlines and holding others to those deadlines
o Able to influence others - even when direct reporting lines are not present
o Able to interact with confidence at all levels of the business & across departments, representing the Electrical Engineering team.
o Strong team building and networking skills are essential

Visits to off-site build facilities (UK).
