This is a stand-alone role for a high level EDS specialist to lead various automotive wire harness projects for one of the UK's most well sought after supercar brands. If you can demonstrate a high level of knowledge and background within automotive vehicle architecture then this could be for you!

Ideally you will be currently working in a similar position in either an OEM, Tier 1 or Consultancy environment as an Lead EDS/Electrical Design Engineer/Electrical Systems Engineer working on whole vehicle electrical architecture. The most highly sought after are those who have performed a full-lifecycle role from specification through circuit design, harness design, prototyping, testing and development and eventually supporting with harness manufacture.
+ Proven background in leading complex whole vehicle harness design and development programmes within an automotive setting.
+ Proven commercial knowledge of EDS projects; budgeting, resource management, project management etc.
+ A demonstrable knowledge of product development processes; FMEA, DVP, DFM etc.
+ Worked across EDS, Circuits, Harness Complexity and DVP (or a majority of these!).
+ Ideally degree qualified in an engineering discipline, an MSc or PhD would be even better,
+ Chartered status would be great (CEng).
