Job Description

Dynamometer and Fuels Testing Technician
Location: Bedford

Want to join a market leader in automotive testing who are rapidly expanding their already impressive capabilities? Want to break into the R&D side of the automotive industry and work on projects for a number of OEM's? With fuel and emissions becoming a bigger and bigger talking point by the day and the pressure for cleaner transport, now is a great chance to work on projects that will have an impact of automotive vehicles in the future!

This company are looking for someone to join their testing team and be responsible for preparing vehicles for hub dynamometer testing, fitting instrumentation and data logging equipment, executing the tests, collect and validate test results and calibrate test equipment amongst others!

About you:
- Qualified to GCSE level or equivalent
- Mechanical/PC qualification
- Engineering apprenticeship related to motor vehicles in a plus!

Skills/prior knowledge:
- Good background and knowledge of motor vehicles
- Diagnostic or testing experience is a massive benefit!
- Instrumentation experience is also highly desirable
- Have a good dealership background with a desire to learn and progress
