MY client, one of THE leading names in the world of consulting is seeking several proven DLP consultants / SME's, ideally with Symantec knowledge, for consulting and managing roles based in the city of London

You would a join a team that combines a wealth of deep industry knowledge with both business advisory experience and technical expertise. My client offers a full spectrum of services encompassing information security, corporate and physical security and business and technology resilience to help their clients fix their issues and bring them real, long-lasting benefits.
You would work with a team that helps clients to identify and address a full range of issues from strategy and policy, business frameworks, operational methodology, through to assisting in specific areas such as data loss prevention (DLP), classification, information rights management, access governance and PKI/cryptography. We provide clients with the confidence to make informed decisions about their information assets.

You previous working experience and knowledge should include:

" Administrator level experience of Data Loss Prevention, in particular the Symantec DLP solution
" Experience with DLP policy, incident response and risk reporting design
" Deep understanding of DLP industry best practice and methodology
" Ability to define DLP strategy, assess Program maturity, and develop and execute effective target operating models
" Ability to engage with business and executive stakeholders to drive DLP governance frameworks
" Technical advisory skills in DLP implementation and architecture design
" Working knowledge of global privacy and employee monitoring legislation

It is also desirable that the candidate possesses the following experience and qualifications:

" Technical background with a desire to translate this into business value
" Experience implementing complex information protection solutions in a medium to large environment, covering technical and operational activities across the whole project lifecycle
" Experience with solutions and products in the following IT security areas: DLP, classification, endpoint and network security, data encryption (be it in hard drives, emails, databases and/or backups) and centralised encryption key management
" Specific experience with Oracle database, networking, messaging, web proxy technologies is desirable
" Strong academics, including a minimum of 2.1 degree or equivalent
" Understanding of information security principles and best practise (e.g., ISO27001 and ISF Standards of Good Practice for Information Security)
" Ability to talk in the language of technical team members, and then switch to the language of business managers
" To have a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firm's commitment to creating a more inclusive culture
