Job Description


A world class leader in protection systems for vehicles is seeking to recruit a Divisional Sales Lead to join the Sales team in Weybridge. As the Sales Leader you will be responsible for sustaining and growing profitable revenues through pro-active selling into established customers and generate new business. You will promoted and present the company as a leading player in the global defence arena. This role will require you to be eligible for Security Clearance.

As the Divisional Sales Lead you will be responsible for the following:

. Driving business development / sales
. Pro-actively protect, sustain and grow profitable revenue with existing customers following the special projects business sales strategy.
. Research sales opportunities and generate qualified sales leads.
. Develop new business to achieve and where possible exceed sales targets.
. Network proactively to gain and assess competitor and market intelligence identifying new business opportunities, partnerships and joint ventures.
. Dynamic, hungry for success and able to be diverse and change with an ever changing market place.
. Pro-actively work with the Marketing Department to assist in implementing the Special Projects Sales' strategies.
. Develop and maintain effective Customer Relationships
. Build trusting, professional and effective relationships with customers, demonstrating company values at all stages of the sales cycle pre and post-delivery.
. Take ownership for excellent service delivery at each stage of the sales cycle.
. Manage and present new proposals to key accounts, existing customers and potential new customers.
. Manage agent relationships including setting targets, assessing performance, negotiating terms and protecting the company's interests.

The successful Divisional Sales Leader will have the following skills and experience:

Technical background/experience.
. Experience within the Defence sector is advantageous but not essential.
. Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills to include MS Office.
. Experience in technical writing as part of a bid team
. Experience in military vehicle and programme Support concepts desirable.
. Drive for Results
. Able to build effective Customer Relationships
. Have a good Commercial Awareness
. A strong character that can manage pressure and still deliver results on a consistent basis.
. Willing to travel in UK and internationally as required.
. Eligible for UK Security Clearance to minimum SC (Secret) level.
. Business/Technical degree preferred (but not essential).
