Job Description

Demand Planner - FMCG - Northampton - £25,000 - £30,000 (DOE)

I have an exciting opportunity for a Demand Planner to join a UK recognised brand on a permanent basis in Northampton. This role comes will a competitive salary and a generous benefits package

The Role:
The purpose of this role is to ensure the successful delivery of products to customers. This requires close collaboration with the national accounts team, manufacturing and Customer supply chain accounts.

Review KPI's ensuring all delivery shortages and failures are investigated
Manage the review of promotional planning and look to drive and improve availability
Manage promotional events and NPI launch
Take ownership for developing and facilitating a collaborative approach
Review Logistic working practises
Conduct end to end Supply chain reviews to identify potential cost savings
Maintain stock levels within target tolerances

Demand Planning experience within an FMCG organisation
Strong supplier management skills
Strong forecasting skills and knowledge of modern forecasting methods
Knowledge of world class planning systems
Knowledge and understanding of MRP systems
Analytical skills with ability to analyse and evaluate data
Excellent communication skills
