£55,000 - £70,000

What do they need?
A Development Engineer, with exceptional programming and scripting skills using Python or SQL.

This is a highly technical role that plays a pivotal role in security risk management across the company estate.

What will I be doing?
Developing tactical and strategic custom security analytics tools (e.g. custom file analyzer(s), custom protocol decoders, network detection content, rules and signatures, etc.) for the Corporate and Online network environments

You will be developing & customising current technologies (e.g. incident tracking & management platforms, building and managing new industry-provided tools/platforms, etc)

The successful candidate will develop new tools and scripts to support intrusions analysis, malware reverse engineering and incident response.

What do they need from me?
The Development Engineer should have strong programming and scripting skills (Python, SQL, familiarity with NoSQL databases, solid understanding of LINUX OS

You will have specific Node.js and JavaScript back-end experience and an understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals, network protocols, system administration and network architectures

It is expected that you will have relevant industry experience in a large, mission-critical environment; such as Gaming, Transactional, Security or Defence

Desirably, you will possess additional development experience with C and/or C++
