Cyber Security Vulnerability Analyst
Gloucestershire / Berkshire / Manchester / Wiltshire

** Candidates must be able to obtain MoD / UK Government Clearance (DV)

ARM Cyber Security are extremely keen and active hunting DV Cleared (SIA) or clearable Cyber Security professionals to join a Cyber Deference organisation at the beginning of their journey, focussed on defending the UK from Cyber Attacks.

For this specific role I am looking to speak with people who will become part of a team aimed at analysing and reducing cyber threats and vulnerabilities, disseminating cyber threat warning information, and coordinating incident response activities.

You will be providing advanced network and digital media analysis expertise and defend against malicious activity targeting networks within the UK and abroad.

Your key / core responsibilities with include:
" Provide expertise in vulnerability management processes and network vulnerability scanning.
" Preferred experience with Tenable Security Center and/or Nessus and McAfee (Foundstone) Enterprise vulnerability assessment tools, or equivalent.
" Configure network scans, schedule network scans to run with bandwidth use in mind, and ensure accurate vulnerability assessment results are generated and made available to appropriate personnel
" Configure vulnerability assessment tools to perform vulnerability scanning on enterprise network.
" Troubleshoot issues arising from vulnerability scanning and serve as technical expert for vulnerability assessment tools.
" Familiarity with AppDetective and/or dB Protect or other database vulnerability assessment tool, or equivalent, preferred but not required.
" Familiarity with Cenzic Hailstorm or other web application vulnerability assessment tool, or equivalent, preferred but not required.


" To be successful, you should have the following skills, background and attributes:
" A Degree in a related technical field or relevant experience/training.
" Experience in Windows, UNIX, and Linux operating systems.
" Vulnerability assessment and troubleshooting experience.
