Job Description

We have a great opportunity within a global automotive OEM. You will be based with us in our elite R&D facility in Bedfordshire. As a Crash Test Engineer your responsibilities will include completing test programs and working towards vehicle safety performance.

Your Responsibilities:
-You are expected to support multiple projects throughout the testing period undertaking a range of functions.
-You'll prepare test plans and coordinating order / supply of Vehicles / Parts to test location
-You will attend physical test preparation and instruct on specific requirements prior to witnessing actual test.
-You will gather test data (Photos, film, G pulse, dimensional) and process for confirmation of target achievement.
-You are a great problem solver to be able to address concern items, countermeasure proposals and negotiations with Design groups.

Your Requirements:
-You'll ideally be qualified to Degree level with basic Vehicle Safety (Crash) experience, preferably in physical test.
-You have good project management skills for preparing test plans and schedules and delivery in a self-sufficient manner.
-Capable in Crash test data analysis is important. Having ability to process multiple data in Microsoft Excel using Company provided Macros would be an advantage.
-Having good presentation skills will be a plus, you will occasionally need to use Microsoft Office.
-We like you to be both flexible and committed individuals to achieving our delivery targets.
-We may occasional send you on foreign business trips to locations.
