Salary: up to £85,000 + car allowance
My client are one of the world's largest Defence and Aerospace organisations are now seeking a Commercial Manager/Director to join their team in Westbury on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will ideally be currently SC Cleared or must be able to obtain SC Clearance. We cannot consider your application if you do not meet this criteria.
This individual will lead a team of commercial, procurement and trade compliance specialists and is responsible for providing comprehensive commercial support for all Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) and Training and Logistics Systems (TLS) captures and programmes in the UK, Europe and some areas of the Middle East. Responsible to the RMS TLS Managing Director with management and functional responsibilities, including being an active member of the Business units management team and being the senior representative on Corporate functional boards working groups (including Contracts, Subcontracts and Trade compliance) or delegate appropriately.

" Broad experience of negotiating and contracting with UK MOD, international customers and suppliers
" Broad experience of trade compliance matters, including export control and ITAR
" Broad experience of negotiating and agreeing legal documents and agreements, including teaming agreements, MOU's software licence agreements etc.
" Broad experience of managing intellectual property matters, data and GFX
" Broad experience of working with both internal and external legal counsel
" Previous experience of managing a diverse and multi-functional team both on site and virtually
