My client is responsible for the biggest construction project in Europe, helping to improve London's commuter infrastructure.
Due to an increase in project workload they require a Commercial Analyst to hit the ground running and become a vital part of the team.
Interviews for this post will be held within two weeks with a start available for December if suited!
You will be required to maintain contracts in a professional and fair manner, working collaboratively with stakeholders to guarantee commercial issues are managed to process.
Supporting project teams through providing informed interpretation of cost data.
" Provide expertise and guidance, answering commercial and contractual based queries.
" Monitor contract obligations, ensuring that the managers and projects teams are complying with appropriate contractual and procedures and governance.
" Resolving or escalating issues to ensure contracts are implemented in a diligent and professional manner.
" Contract administration including responses to contract correspondence, drafting and issuing instructions, budgetary control, calculation of costs to date, accruals, forecasts, management and verification of supplier payment applications providing challenges when required in line with programme controls systems and processes.
" Preparation of accurate cost and commercial management information reports
" Evaluation and quantification of project risks, opportunities and contingency in conjunction with the managers in order to minimise the risk exposure to the project.
" Degree or equivalent in Commercial Management or Finance.
" Contractual knowledge including NEC and ECC.
" Proven background in Contract Management or similar within an infrastructure environment.
" Excellent communication skills.
" Excellent time management.
" Ability to handle and work with complex financial data.
" Use of program controls systems including cost management tools such as PRISM or COBRA.
" Use of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle for financial reporting.
" Technical and practical application of estimating, pricing and costing.
" Earned Value, CPI & SPI for demonstration of programme performance.
