An exciting opportunity for an experienced Change + Config Control Manager to work on an international site in Mons, Belgium for a leading defence sector client of ours.

Job Description
The Change and Configuration Control Manager will report to the Service Manager as a member of the on-site management team working closely with Operations staff. The role will be based full time at the customer's site at SHAPE, Mons, Belgium working directly opposite a Customer Change Manager and collaborating with the customer's Change Management organisation. An attractive accompanied overseas assignment package will be available to the right candidate.

A proactive, self-motivated and personable individual is required to undertake the daily end-to-end management of all Change and Configuration Control processes. The individual will need to ensure our collective compliance with procedures whilst undertaking efficient monitoring and effective communication with complex business and customer stakeholder organisations.
The role requires a methodical, well-organised individual who is able to: understand and assess technical and non-technical information; influence others through reasoned and well prepared meetings, discussions & presentations; refine and continually improve yield and efficiency of the processes and procedures;

Roles and Responsibilities-
"Owns, maintains and applies the Change, Document and Configuration Management plans, & proportionally applies ITIL best practices within contractual limitations;
"Manages and coordinates the whole lifecycle (including preparation) of Change Requests (CRs) for the Programme;
"Prepares for, chairs and coordinates the Technical Review Board (TRB) screening CRs with stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers / vendors;
"Prepares for, chairs and coordinates the Change Management Board (CMB) screening CRs and ECPs with business and all customer stakeholders organisations;
"Prepares reports and contributes to the management reporting cycle and ensures Change and Configuration Management Service Level Targets (SLTs) are achieved;
"Maintains and manages the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) for the global enterprise and local test and reference systems;
"Manages Documentation control and configuration, contributing to output quality;
"Provide support to customer change approvals and acceptance processes;

Skills & Experience (Mandatory)-
"NATO clearance to NS or ability to obtain with experience of working in secure IT environments
"Willing and able to work full time at an overseas (non-UK) location
"Minimum of 3yrs demonstrable experience managing CM environments
"Working understanding of project management principles and practices
"Understanding of governance for (at least low value) commercial bids or quotations
"ITIL or equivalent qualifications or relevant experience
"Working knowledge of technologies employed in networks

Skills & Experience (Desirable)-
"Experience of working within NATO or equivalent complex Government or Military organisations
"Experience of ITSM tools and their application / configuration for Change and Configuration management; Experience of working with BMC Footprints
"Knowledge of Cyber Security technologies, principle or practices
"Understanding of spares scaling and stock control lifecycles
