My client, a growing Cyber Defence and Service Solution company require a CCT/CTL to either work onsite in Birmingham or remotely depending on the candidates base location

Role Description:

The role will include actively delivering client engagements as well as team leading responsibilities.
CCT or CHECK Team Lead status with at least one year practical experience of operating at this level is highly desirable. It is preferable that your skills cover infrastructure / web application testing, as well as phishing / red team engagements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Leading penetration testing engagements on customer sites and delivering work at an excellent technical quality that meets standards and client requirements.

- Supporting the Birmingham staff at a technical level from a penetration testing perspective and in building enduring capabilities to support the business.

- Aiding evaluation of customer requests, scoping requirements and proposing solutions to meet the needs of our clients.

- Responding to and resolving team technical issues, thinking in a logical manner that addresses the requirement while minimising business and operational risk.

- Helping to grow and develop the business vision.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

- CCT/CHECK Team Leader (CTL) with experience in leading a small team of CTM/CRT personnel

- Experience across multiple facets of cyber security, at a technical delivery level.

- Deep technical knowledge of a wide range of toolsets and techniques that are commonly required for service delivery.

- Ability to work to deadlines in challenging environments, maintaining a positive approach to problem solving and possessing effective time management skills.

- Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to present reports and transform technical information into contextual impacts on customers’ critical business processes.

- An inquisitive nature within the Cyber Security domain, pro-actively staying on top of technical developments in the marketplace, taking part in forums / collaborative events as appropriate and maintaining industry relevant certifications.

- Flexible with working hours, working location and tasks to suit customer needs, including being able to fit in with customers’ culture, for example dress codes.

Desirable skills / qualifications:
- Offensive Security Certified Professional / Certified Expert

- Exploit development and vulnerability research, including reverse engineering.

- Programming experience in a variety of common languages, for example Bash, Python, Java.

- Understanding of mail transfer protocols, anti-spam measures and evasion techniques for security solutions.

- Any other related skills and experience in application, operating system, database management operation or development or security.
