We have an opportunity within a leading automotive client, based out of their Warwickshire head office. Calibration Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing all exterior systems and body creation.

Position Description:
Automatic Transmissions Calibration are responsible for all aspects of the transmission software that includes the shift scheduling, shift functionality and shift quality. These attributes combine to form the transmission calibration attribute. Transmission calibration work closely with transmissions controls and transmission hardware team. The department is based in the Whitley Powertrain building. The role will support the continued delivery of world class calibrations on exciting and innovative transmission technologies working closely with the supplier and other COC working as part of an established, motivated, highly technical and dynamic team. This is a technically challenging and rewarding role that has a direct influence on the customer's product experience the role is that of project team leader working closely with the technical team leader for a range of applications on inline transmissions. The candidate would be required to have excellent project management skills, good calibration/technical skills and excellent communications and organisational qualities.

Skills Required:
1) Experience of project management in a technical delivery context
2) Calibration experience
3) Able to work to a high standard with minimum supervision. Flexibility and able to work under pressure and to project gateway requirements.

Experience Required:
See above for detail highly self-motivated engineer with proven inter-personal communication/networking skills. Ideally calibration experience Experience of working in an Engineering environment. Technical understanding of the Powertrain & Transmission systems Relevant Engineering Degree or higher.

Experience Preferred:
Experience of supplier management and co-ordination Preferred. - Working knowledge of auto Trans hardware functionality and testing Preferred. - Working to gateway deliverables - Preferred - Able to work cross functionally across several powertrain sections
