We have an opportunity within a leading automotive client, based out of their Warwickshire head office .As Calibration Engineer you will be responsible for the delivery of robust calibration, validation, and certification of multiple monitors for worldwide market legislation including NAS, EU, and Beijing, China.

Position Description:
The Control Systems Engineer role will be to deliver OBDII level diagnostics into gasoline, and gasoline-hybrid Powertrains across all platforms. Taking on this role, you all be responsible for the delivery of robust calibration, validation, and certification of multiple monitors for worldwide market legislation including NAS, EU, and Beijing, China. You all be expected to plan, coordinate, execute, and sign off testing programmes, and you all be able to demonstrate experience in capturing, understanding, and developing requirements. In your role, you all take responsibility for implementing monitors across a range of engine calibration and solutions meeting worldwide legislation (e.g. EU6b/c, Federal, Chinese), demonstrate expertise with calibration and data analysis tools (e.g. INCA, MATLAB, CONCERTO, etc.) and good analytical skills alongside a working knowledge of MS Office software.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:
1)Familiarity with methods of engineering systems analysis such as FMA, FMEA, DVM, 8D, fishbone, six-sigma.
2) Familiarity with using ECU calibration and data logging equipment such as ETAS INCA & MDA.
3) Familiarity with data post-processing, manipulation and simulation using Mat lab and Simulink.

Experience Required:
Previous experience of engine management systems analysis and calibration. Some level of engineering qualification, minimum HND.

Experience Preferred:
Previous working with product, experience of working within, experience of the certification processes, higher levels of qualification (Master's degree for example)
