They are currently embarking on a major transformation programme and require a number of skilled Business Change professionals, to assist them during this significant period of flux.
The Business Analyst's primary objective is to support the Programmes within my clients Change portfolio, by developing the blueprint for change and defining the requirements needed to deliver the desired change. It also includes ensuring business alignment by testing solutions with stakeholders and users during the delivery phase.
o The Business Analyst is also responsible for undertaking the technical analysis required (within a Lean framework) to model and document changes to the enterprise architecture.
o Develop a thorough understanding of the business drivers, project scope and objectives in order to determine the business requirements for the change
o Engage with project stakeholders to understand and capture all business requirements within the boundaries of the agreed scope
o Document the business requirements
o Analyse the business requirements and assess the capability of current processes and systems to meet them
o Review the business requirements of other change Programmes to map dependencies and to identify opportunities to join up and do things once
o Recommend appropriate solutions, applications and technology
o Engage with project stakeholders to test and socialise the proposed solutions, applications and technology
o Design and produce visual maps and models to support the recommendations for effective solutions to issues
o Review requirements versus current status to help develop, establish and validate the blueprint for change
o Contribute to the development of the high-level and detailed design, and the business case as required
o Document recommendations for implementing the blueprint for change, including building a credible feasibility study
o Supporting the delivery of major transformational change within a complex programme environment (Waterfall and Agile)
o Collecting, interpreting and consolidating data and information from many different sources
o Presenting complex information in a clear and compelling way, including visually
o Ensuring adhesion to robust programme governance
o Balancing the long-term (or 'big picture') and short-term implications of individual recommendations and decisions
