To provide overall planning, develop and direct marketing efforts to increase the value and performance of a valves and service. The Brand Manager must focus on developing the brand's profit and loss performance, image and positioning compared to competitors, Develop new business through maintaining current customer relationships and gaining new accounts.
Key Responsibilities: (Key Tasks)
o Analyze the brand and current strategy, highlighting areas of weaknesses or conflicting messages.
o Play a key part in sourcing and manufacturing of the brands products and ensure all aspects of the supply chain align with the brand.
o Provide direction and objectives required to capture market share.
o Translate brand strategies into brand plans, brand positioning and go-to-market strategies.
o Lead creative development and create motivating stimulus to get targeted population to "take action".
o Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates.
o Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
o Monitor market trends and competitors' activities to identify opportunities and key issues.
o Monitor product distribution and customer reactions.
o Anticipate bottlenecks.
o Develop innovative growth strategies.
o Work closely with all parts of the company to ensure commercial goals of the brand are met.
o Develop and sustain strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
o Develop and maintain sales relationships with all levels/sizes of customers.
o Realistic forecasting of sales and volume for the brand, ensuring all parts of the company are geared accordingly.
o Seek out new marketing opportunities that fit with the brand and maximizing all opportunities for growth.
o May be required to handle the largest accounts and/or the most complex products as directed by VP Operations

Education / Qualifications:
o Degree in marketing, business, or a related field
o Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
o Comprehensive, specialized technical knowledge of company's products and services, customer requirements and competitive market.
o Highly creative with ability to think out of box
o Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
o Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
o Comfortable working with numbers, metrics and spreadsheets
o Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
o Drive for results and leaderships skills
" Previous experience in a similar role.
" Experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
" Background in manufacturing.
" Familiarity with specifications (ANSI, ASME, MSS, API) and ability to understand complex technical subjects.
" Previous proven interaction with QC and Purchasing departments
" Maintain behaviour in compliance with HSE requirements.
" Maintain responsibility and accountability through personal commitment and behaviour.
" Report any unsafe or environmentally unsound acts and conditions to their immediate Supervisor such that remedial action can be taken to manage the risk.
