Job Description

Programme Engineer - Body Repair
Location - Gaydon, Warwickshire (commutable from major cities; Birmingham, Coventry, Oxford, Warwick)

Are you interested in working for a consultancy who provide design analysis and process improvements to a high-end automotive car manufacturer at their facility in Gaydon?

Do you want to work for a company who breed a culture of perfection and strive to make engineering processes more robust; saving time, money and ultimately increasing product performance? I thought so!

We are looking for an engineer to work within the body repair process team working closely with the customer engineers and franchised dealerships to improve vehicle competitiveness by reducing the vehicle maintenance costs and translate this upstream to the designers to tackle the fault at the root!

You may be in a technical author position at present and be comfortable with generating technical publications, user guides, owner manuals, workshop methods and dealer documentation.

About you;

You harbour a passion for vehicle engineering and have a background in vehicle body construction methods and use this knowledge to develop effective methods of repair for vehicles.

" Creation of technical documentation for vehicle body engineering.
" A knowledge of vehicle design/development would be handy!
" A solid knowledge of carbon fibre composites or aluminium bonding.

" Setting up and approving body repair centres to OEM standards through workshop manuals etc
" Self-managing your own workload
