What do they need?
A Microsoft BI Analyst to play an active role in the Analytics Centre of Expertise, providing BI & Analytics advisory, support and delivery capabilities to the wider group.

Working alongside GIS, developers and Data Science specialists, this new corporate capability will support the sales teams and analysts to develop analytics solutions and insights for their respective business units.

What will I be doing?
The BI Analyst will carry-out the following tasks:

* Provide technical support for existing reports, dashboards, or other tools
* Create or review technical design documentation to ensure the accurate development of reporting solutions
* Document specifications for business intelligence or information technology (IT) reports, dashboards, or other outputs
* Create business intelligence tools or systems, including design of related databases, spreadsheets, or outputs

What do they need from me?
You will have solid experience of developing and supporting Microsoft BI and reporting capabilities (PowerPivot, PowerBI, PowerView, SQL Server Reporting Services) and a background in implementing enterprise software solutions

The BI Analyst should have demonstrated data analytics proficiency and proven experience developing and supporting one or more major Analytics tools e.g. Spotfire, Tableau etc.

You should have strong competence working with SQL Server databases as a data source. Other databases advantageous.

Salary
£45,000 - £60,000, depending on experience
