Job Description

Vehicle Auto Technician
Commutable from; Bedford, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Luton, Daventry, Aylesbury, Banbury.
Salary; £20,000 - £25,000 + Benefits

A global automotive consultancy are perfectly positioned for some huge market growth and have plans in place to expand their facilities now and over the next few years. They're clients are mostly major automotive OEM's as well as some Defence companies nationally and internationally.

As an automotive vehicle technician you will be responsible for carrying out repairs, vehicle inspections, diagnostics checks and installation work on cars, trucks, vans and various types of commercial vehicles all based in a workshop environment.

Ideally, you will currently be working within an OEM, tier 1 or consultancy as either an auto technician or a vehicle technician with a strong grasp of repairs and vehicle servicing. You may also be working within a garage environment performing similar tasks.

Role Responsibilities;

" Light vehicle repairs general servicing.
" LGV, Bus/Coach repairs and general servicing.
" Vehicle fault finding.
" Diagnostic checks using various diagnostic equipment.
" Conduct Durability test vehicle measurements.
" Complete work tickets with detailed written report on work actioned.
" Liaise with supporting staff, engineers, supervisor and customers on a technical level.


" Ideally completed full automotive apprenticeship or other formal automotive qualifications.
" A significant background working as automotive technician.
" Strong electrical knowledge would put you at a distinct advantage.
" A keen eye for detail to support vehicle inspection
" A strong keen player is a must!

This is a shift based role which could vary; day shift - 8am to 4:30pm (No shift premium), early shift - 6am to 2pm (5% shift premium), late shift - 2pm to 10pm (10% shift premium), night shift - 10pm to 6am (20% shift premium).
