Analyzer Engineer (Petrochemical)

As an Analyser Engineer you will be a key part of the asset engineering team within the petrochemical refinery. Candidates will need to have an understanding of analyser equipment within a process industry.

Job Description

Analyser Engineer

The Analyser Engineers are an important part of the asset engineering team in order to be able to support the improvement and development of their petrochemical plant. I am looking for Analyser Engineers who have experience of working with instrumentation equipment within a process industry, ideally Petrochemical.

The company are known for their presence within the petrochemical and maritime industry whom were also recognised globally through the media with their refinery investment.

About you

- Small Power electrical systems.
- Working knowledge/experience of the Wiring Regulations, DSEAR, ATEX etc
- Knowledge with IEC61508/ 11 Safety Instrumented Systems Standards.
- Knowledge of EIC 61831 - On Line Analyser Systems - Guide to Design and Installation
- Knowledge of IEC 61285 - Industrial Process Control - Safety of Analyser Houses
- A detailed knowledge of the following on line analyser technologies: Chromatographs, Flashpoint, FT NIR, Cloudpoint, Distillation, Particulate -IR, SOX/ NOX
- Design and specification of instrument and measurement systems.
- Basic knowledge of PLC based control systems and their application to safety instrumented systems.
- Knowledge of Maintenance Management tools and databases.
