You may have noticed our social media channels going crazy with content lately, and if there’s one word which appears more than any other, then it must be: ‘award’.
Two weeks ago, it was revealed that parent company Serocor and two of ARM’s recruitment consultants had been shortlisted for the IRP Awards, under four separate categories. Then, on 8 October, Adam Razzell won Recruiter of the Year at the RailStaff Awards in Coventry. As if that wasn’t enough, we learned yesterday (10 October) that ARM has been named a finalist in the Broadbean National Online Recruitment Awards, otherwise known as the NORAs.
What’s a NORA?
The NORAs set out to identify and recognise excellence in online recruitment, from the perspective of the candidate. Given the way that the industry has become heavily internet-reliant, it makes sense that recruiters’ websites should be assessed so that candidates can discover which ones offer the best user experience.
ARM has been shortlisted under the ‘Best large recruitment agency’ category and we’re naturally thrilled, as the nod means that we are fulfilling our promise to provide great service.
Nominated by our candidates
The awards are particularly special as they are decided upon by candidates. The NORA Academy invited the public to nominate deserving agencies and received some 25,000 nominations, relating to over 500 individual agencies. It was up to a panel of judges to then determine the finalists, a task which necessitated visiting every site and ‘pretending’ to be a job seeker. Their findings then determined the shortlist.
