Subsea Structural Engineer in Kingston upon Thames, London

The Energy Division at ARM is currently recruiting for an experienced Subsea Structural Engineer to join our client, who are an established Global Leader in Engineering and Construction, for the Offshore & Onshore Energy Sector.

Location: Kingston Upon Thames
Job Scope: Traditional Oil & Gas bids as well as offshore wind projects all over the world.

Contract length/type: 12-month contract (outside IR35)

Candidates must be:
- Capable of performing subsea structural analysis works and develop technical solutions to design requirements.
- Degree-qualified structural engineer with design experience in offshore subsea structures (such as FLETs, Manifolds, Suction piles and large mud mats).
- Knowledge of structural computational modelling and analysis (FEA).

Software experience:
- FEA software ABAQUS (2D shell and 3D solid elements), Beam software SACS and hand calculations.
- Knowledge of the standards API 2A WSD, AISC 9th Edition (structures) and DNV-ST-N001 (marine operation).
- Experience with MathCAD software is preferred.

  • Hybrid Working : 3 days in the Office, 2 days remote
