ContractThe Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting a Senior Mechanical Engineer in any of the following sectors - Water, Energy, Defence, and Aviation to work on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure with opportunities to work on Iconic Engineering projects.
Start Date: ASAP
End date: 6-12 months
Hourly Rate: £50-£60
Hours per week: 40
Qualification required for this role: Chartered
Expenses: Yes - Site visits etc
Offices across the UK - Epsom, Bristol, London, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Belfast, Derby, Leeds, Swansea, Newcastle, Peterborough and Exeter.

Your Purpose
- Manage a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
- Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
- Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
- Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
What you can bring
- Chartered Mechanical Engineer
- Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
- Sound knowledge in mechanical equipment, such as pumps, blowers, screens and chemical dosing plant as well as an in-depth understanding of current UK design standards and working practices.
- Strong understanding of legislation such as CDM and ATEX.
