• Role: Principal Structural Analysis Engineer
• Permanent role
• Hybrid Working (3 days in the office, 2 days from home)
• Office based in South West London

The Energy Division at ARM is currently recruiting for an experienced Structural Analysis Engineer to join our client, who are an established Global Leader in Engineering and Construction projects for the Offshore Energy Sector.

What your role will look like:

• To perform structural analysis in accordance with the company's current requirements and the latest Industry Codes and Standards including statutory rules and regulations (DNV GL, API, AISC, EC and Norsok).
• To Review/comment and approve Structural drawings for steel structures based upon Engineering Design. To Prepare high quality Design Reports and to maintain records in accordance with Department Operating Procedures
• To ensure that all activities are carried out in a manner consistent with the company policy on health, safety, quality and environmental matters in accordance with Saipem specific procedures.

What do you need to succeed?

• B.Eng, M.Eng, M.Sc in Civil/Structural Engineering
• Offshore wind structural experience is an added advantage but not essential
• Relevant offshore energy industry experience with a proven track record of delivering high quality Structural Engineering.
• Ability to apply engineering principals to solve challenging problems and to work effectively within a small team.
• Ability to communicate well in English, both verbally and written

Software:

• MS Excel and hand calculations.
• SACS
