Are you ready to lead the charge in pioneering projects that leverage cutting-edge technology for vital National Defence Programmes?

My Client is seeking a Principal Systems Safety Engineer to join a dynamic team, where you will play a crucial role in delivering complex safety-critical systems across multiple platforms.

In this position, you will conduct comprehensive safety analyses, including HAZOPs, FMECA, and FTA, Functional Failure Analysis Awareness, understanding and application of the tools and techniques used in Risk Assessments and developing ALARP justifications, adhering to Company safety processes and utilizing guidance from Def Stan 00-056 and IEC 61508.

You'll generate safety requirements to ensure that customer and derived safety targets are met, and present compelling safety arguments to stakeholders.

Your experience in the UK Defence industry, backed by a degree or equivalent in Engineering or Safety Management, will empower you to influence critical safety decisions.

You'll collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, enhancing my clients reputation through high-quality outputs while supporting audits and design reviews.

If you possess expertise in safety assurance for COTS PE-based systems or high-integrity software, and are familiar with risk assessment tools and techniques, we want to hear from you!
