ContractPRINCIPAL PROJECT ENGINEER (SIGNALLING DESIGN) - CORK, IRELAND - 3 YEARS - £600 PER DAY (OUTSIDE IR35)
ARM are supporting our railway client with recruiting a contractor to join the team based in Cork to support on a major signalling project in the Republic of Ireland. This contract is for 3 years and is an outside of IR35 position.
About You:
* You will be an experienced Project Engineer with extensive experience within Signalling from design, installation to testing.
* You will hold an IRSE licence for project engineer or engineering manager.
* You will also hold either a BSc or MSc engineering qualification.
* Some experience of managing others is also needed.
* Knowledge of RSSB and Network Rail Standards or Irish Rail standards is needed also.
* You will need to drive also for this role.
What you will be doing:
This position will see you working on a major project being delivered for Irish Rail. It is a client facing position and will see you providing onsite engineering services that will link with others in the company who are working on design, delivery and other signalling engineering support on this project.,
This position is based in Cork in Ireland. You will need to be based in Cork for the duration of the project, but it is possible to travel home on the weekends.
What you can expect in return:
The rate guidance for this position is around £600 per day (Ltd Co) and this has been deemed as an Outside IR35 position. The rate is an all inclusive rate that will need to include all your expenses. There may be some scope to exceed this, but we would need to justify a higher rate.
You will need to be eligible to work in Ireland for this position and we are open to UK or EU candidates for this position, so long as they have the necessary railway knowledge and knowledge of the UK or Irish standards in the essential criteria.
