Overview
We're seeking a Platform Automation Consultant with some Team lead responsibilities to assist with the design, development and support of infrastructure automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and support infrastructure automation solutions.
* Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and methodologies.
* Lead and mentor a small team of junior engineers.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation tools.
* Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using SNOW, Terraform, Ansible Tower, GIT, API, YAML, and HCL (HashiCorp Configuration Language).
* Manage and optimize Windows Server environments (2019, 2022) and/or Linux environments (RHEL 8/9).
* Utilize CI/CD pipeline automation tools.
* Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and automation issues.
* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in DevOps and automation.
Qualifications:
* Several years of experience in Infrastructure DevOps and automation within the financial services industry.
* Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and methodologies.
* Proficiency in SNOW, Terraform, Ansible Tower, GIT, API, YAML, and HCL.
* Experience with Windows Server 2019/2022 and/or Linux RHEL 8/9.
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
* Ability to lead and mentor a small team of junior engineers.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Relevant certifications in DevOps, cloud platforms, or related technologies.
* Experience with other automation tools and technologies.
* Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps.
