We are looking for a Mission Systems Engineer to join us and help develop mission system concept options, architectures and designs for the various components of a future combat air system.

Day to Day you'll be -

• Provide technical expertise, supporting and / or leading in the following activities for mission systems as part of a multi-functional engineering team: Concepting, Architecting, Requirements management, Design, Testing, Safety, Cyber Security, Qualification and certification

• Lead and support team meetings / DSUMs / Agile reviews
• Manage / help / direct less experienced Systems Engineers
• Manage the creation of Engineering documents that form part of the Systems Engineering process

Skills we are looking for -

• Systems engineering and engineering lifecycle experience
• Knowledge of systems engineering methods and tools (e.g. UML/SysML, MoDAF, MOOD, Matlab)
• Experience of developing mission systems and associated domain knowledge

It would be beneficial if you had -

• Some experience of working in an agile environment
• Experience of managing engineers
• Presentation skills
