GIS Technician in Birmingham, West Midlands

GIS TECHNICIAN - WEST MIDLANDS - PERMANENT - £32,150 - £43,355

ARM are working with a large infrastructure organisation and we are looking for a GIS Technician to join their team in the West Midlands on a permanent basis for involvement on major projects in the UK.

• You will be an experienced Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) Technician.
• You will have demonstrable experience of working on ARCGIS and other ESRI programmes in a professional capacity.
• You will be able to use Python for data sets. Experience of FME and assistive technologies is required for this position also.
• Ideally you will have experience of land registry or Land & Property.

This position will be supporting on a land and property portfolio. The information comes from the supply chain and using ARCGIS, FME and Python, you will use this data for reporting and checking purposes.

This position will be based in Birmingham on a hybrid basis. Working 2 days a week in the office and 3 days home based.

The salary range for this position is between £32,150 and £43,355. On top of this is an excellent benefits package with generous allowances for pension, holiday, healthcare and more. This is an organisation with a large GIS team, so there is opportunities to progress that some organisations are unable to offer.
