Purpose

The Facilities department is responsible for the management and maintenance of physical assets worldwide, including buildings, test tracks, and equipment. They ensure compliance with ISO14001 and CSR obligations while supporting business growth through new infrastructure and the upkeep of existing assets. Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Facilities and Maintenance teams to manage day-to-day operations on a complex site, including buildings, roads, and land management.
Support the delivery of new buildings, facility upgrades, and major maintenance projects.
Assist the Project Manager in the administrative and execution phases of construction and maintenance projects.
Manage Capital Expenditure (CapEx) budgets, ensuring innovation, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with building regulations, legislation, and internal procedures.
Coordinate and supervise on-site construction work, recording data into infrastructure and facilities software.
Develop skills in computer-aided design (CAD) and project management software.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance facilities and processes.
Develop and implement risk assessments and maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Experience

Degree or equivalent in a construction-related or building services discipline (Preferred).
HNC/HND in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical).
A passion for advancing your career in Facilities Engineering within an automotive setting.
Experience in CAD software and facilities work with infrastructure (beneficial but not essential).
Knowledge of Construction Design Management 2015 and a variety of construction trades.
Experience in managing and designing construction projects is a plus.
Skills

Strong project management skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Understanding of the construction RIBA stages.
Additional Requirements

Full UK driving license and own transport.
Willingness to undergo a Criminal Disclosure check.
