Electrical Distribution & Plant Technician - Wiltshire - Permanent - £40,000 Per Annum

ARM is working with one of Britain's largest Rail Infrastructure companies, who is currently recruiting for a Distribution & Plant Technician in Wiltshire on a permanent basis.

About You:
You will have knowledge of electrical distribution and plant inspection, faulting, maintenance, and renewal techniques.
You will be conversant with standards, procedures, and instructions.
You will ideally hold (or be working towards) an NVQ level 1 or 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant subject or have attained an appropriate level of knowledge through equivalent relevant experience.
You could be an electrician who is looking to get into working on the UK's railway networks also.
You will hold a valid UK Driver's License.

What you will be doing:
In this position, you will be tasked with ensuring work is carried out safely and in accordance with safe systems of work procedures, method statements, and business standards. You will also look to make sure vehicles, tools, plant materials, and equipment used are fit for use and are stored and disposed of correctly.

This position can be based in Swindon (Wilts) or Didcot (Oxon) depending on your home location. Any travel to the site will see you using a company vehicle, hence the need for a Driving Licence for this role.

The salary for this position is £40,000 Per Annum, on top of this is a range of benefits which includes a generous pension scheme, railway discounts, generous annual leave and much more.
