Engine Design Engineer

INSIDE IR35 Contract

12 months with high likelihood of extension

Role Summary:

• Contribute to design and development of new product concepts and complex engineering projects.
• Design and develop engine components and systems for production.
• Ensure products meet standards for performance, durability, quality, cost, and serviceability.
• Collaborate with global teams and suppliers.
• Lead project planning and delivery.

Skills Required:

• Analytical Thinking: Problem-solving, data analysis, and decision-making skills.
• Effective Communications: Ability to provide constructive feedback and make clear presentations.
• Managing Multiple Priorities: Handle changing demands and multitasking.
• Product Design and Development: Experience with 3D modeling, product design requirements, and prototype development.

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Diesel/spark ignited engine design.
• Proficiency in Creo/AutoCAD.
• Ability to perform simple simulation work
