CNC Setter/Operator in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire

• Current working knowledge of CNC milling and Turning
• Preparing (setting) of a wide range of Fanuc controlled CNC milling and turning machinery quickly, accurately, and efficiently to produce a wide range of component parts ranging from basic to complex for low batch high mix production runs.
• Basic creation or editing of CNC programs using G & M code instruction.
• Operate machines to produce production runs of parts in accordance with a daily production plan.
• Self-Inspection of repeat work using the appropriate inspection equipment.
• Perform regular Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) on the machinery.
• Advise Team Lead and production engineering team of production issues and defects.
• Supporting the Business in the implementation of Continuous Improvement to increase production.
