Anti-Theft Engineer in Basildon, Essex

Anti-Theft Engineer / Vehicle Crime Specialist

Hybrid - 3x days per week in Basildon office

Position Description:

• Assess designs for resistance to theft attack in line with Thatcham NVSA criteria and IG rating requirements
• Perform physical theft attacks.
• Maintain and author requirements, track programs through gateways to release.
• Organise design reviews with physical theft/security experts for signoff.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in Thatcham requirements, physical vehicle attacks, lock picking, and electronic attacks.
• Understanding of the IG rating system.
• Mechanical proficiency and diagnostic awareness.
• Experience in stolen vehicle examination, working with insurance agents, and vehicle/component ID.

Skills Preferred:

• Dealer level diagnostics experience (not essential).
• CAD proficiency (not essential).
