Anti-Theft Engineer in Basildon, Essex

INSIDE IR35 Contract - 18 months
£29.52 per hour - Umbrella
Hybrid - 3x days per week in Basildon office
Position Description:
- Assess designs for resistance to theft attack in line with Thatcham NVSA criteria and IG rating requirements
- Perform physical theft attacks.
- Maintain and author requirements, track programs through gateways to release.
- Organise design reviews with physical theft/security experts for signoff.
Skills Required:
- Proficiency in Thatcham requirements, physical vehicle attacks, lock picking, and electronic attacks.
- Understanding of the IG rating system.
- Mechanical proficiency and diagnostic awareness.
- Experience in stolen vehicle examination, working with insurance agents, and vehicle/component ID.
Skills Preferred:
- Dealer level diagnostics experience (not essential).
- CAD proficiency (not essential).
