Project history:

ARM has been working with GE Oil & Gas since April 2011. We supply both contract and permanent engineering professionals within core disciplines including Subsea Design Engineers, Mechanical Engineers and Project Managers.

The previous Preferred Supplier List (PSL) of GE Oil & Gas was struggling to supply the right calibre of candidates. GE invited us, via its managed service provider Experis, to use our tried and tested processes and to establish networks to find the right solution.

How we help GE Oil & Gas:

With an excellent track record supporting many high ranking Oil & Gas specialists, we have built up a strong talent pool of desirable and hard-to-find candidates. We supply GE with consistently accurate matches in the skills of the talented professionals we recruit.

Vacancy to placement ratios have consistently been around 3.7:1, with a 2:1 ratio of CVs to the number of interviews obtained, demonstrating the quality-of-service from the ARM account and recruitment teams that work with GE.

Further to this, our back-office team supports aftercare for both candidates and contractors. We help to maintain excellent professional relationships, resolving any problems and ensuring payments are swift and seamless.

The ARM solution:

The professional skills required for Subsea Engineering are very difficult to resource. However, we are able to minimise these recruitment challenges by using our impressive network of contacts and technical and business knowledge of the sector.

We have a highly flexible position in the market place, allowing us to cater for specific recruitment needs and to ensure GE has access to the talent it needs. Our team also has an innate ability to source good candidates from a proven network of specialist oil and gas professionals.

Equally, ARM has the ability to react to immediate demand. For example, we send CVs to GE within 48 hours and on average, roles are filled within two weeks (including client turnaround time). Additionally, we have the ability to provide detailed salary and pay benchmarking information, which allows our clients to be fully competitive in respect to attracting the right talent.
