MAHLE Powertrain Recruitment Open Day 14 September 2017
Love powertrain technology? Want to work for one of the world’s largest automotive development partners? ARM is helping MAHLE Powertrain to promote its recruitment open day in September and to identify the best talent in the marketplace.
MAHLE Powertrain is inviting prospective candidates to its state-of-the-art Northampton-based facility for a site tour, presenting them with a unique chance to see projects in action. This one-off recruitment event is like no other. Rarely does MAHLE open its doors – think of it as the automotive equivalent of Willy Wonka’s factory – so if automotive engineering is your chosen career field, don’t miss out.
It’s running three consecutive 1.5-hour events throughout the day which will include:
- Welcome presentation
- About MAHLE Powertrain - heritage and current/future plans
- Observations – the opportunity to observe engineers working on projects
- Site tour lead by senior MAHLE engineers
- Information exchange and interaction with employees from across the business.
MAHLE Powertrain is searching for its future engineering superstars and is inviting talented individuals to see for themselves why it's such a great place to work. You’ll be able to speak with employees, ask questions and gain exclusive insight into the company. The aim is to match top automotive talent with the right career opportunities at MAHLE.
> Who we’re looking for?
People with a passion for engineering, driven by a desire to strive for perfection, and a belief and mind-set that demonstrates determination to succeed in their field of expertise.
In return, MAHLE Powertrain offers incredible growth and development opportunities, a diverse training programme, performance-based pay and generous flexible working options. As an employer, it values outstanding performance and encourages employees to reach their potential.
> The process
Don’t worry, there’s no formal interview at this stage. The open day is a chance for you to meet MAHLE and for them to meet you. There’s no requirement for presentations. Instead, this open day will kick start the recruitment process, which will lead to the best candidates securing automotive jobs.
To ensure the right candidates attend, we will be screening registrations, only referring those who truly satisfy MAHLE’s requirements for industry enthusiasm and experience.
However, whilst not everyone will get through to the open day, our Automotive Team will retain candidates’ details for future relevant vacancies.
